If I had to chop down a tree, I’d spend the first 30 minutes sharpening my axe.
Then try one chop. Hmm, needs more sharpening. Chop. I wonder how it would work if I did it this way. Chop. What is even an axe? Chop.
I should build my own, better axe...

I joined GitHub Next in October 2026. Prior to this, I’ve spent my career in both small startups, in agencies, freelancing on my own and in large organizations.
I approach problems from the user perspective. Sometimes that means making the button prettier, sometimes it means optimizing database queries in background jobs. A full stack engineer by necessity.
I’m excited about the new possibilities of AI driven development, the workflows it unlocks and the problems I can now tackle – all at once, all the time.
