I've always been drawn toward the intersection of human language and computer language, and there's never been a more exciting time to work around that nexus. I'm interested in how we translate the massive recent gains in natural language understanding and production into new developer and user experiences that are more productive, delightful, and just plain fun.

Before joining Next, I was in the Security org at GitHub, using ML and human systems to detect and mitigate spam and abuse across our product portfolio. Prior to GitHub, I led data science teams at Verizon Labs, building content recommender systems for novel viewing platforms, and EcoHealth Alliance, using text analysis for biosurveillance to detect emerging global disease threats.
