Hi, I'm Eddie! I joined GitHub Next in March 2021.

My current interests are in machine learning for code. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge embedded in the world's open source code, and tools like GitHub Copilot can democratize this knowledge, helping developers be more productive and write higher quality code. I am excited to build this future.

Since I joined Next, I've worked primarily on GitHub Copilot, helping it graduate from a research prototype to a fully supported, generally available product.
